Diagnosis
SOLD!
Someone that I love very much was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. This comic is dedicated to her, and her battle.
Unfortunately, due to this, and some other obligations, I am putting off the contest that I have been promising to hold. Sorry, but I’m sure you all understand. Maybe later this year when things have settled down a bit.
On a lighter note: In an effort to stream line the periodic sales requests I receive, you may notice that I have updated the site with those works that have already sold. If you want to get your hands on something, just visit the Shop link at the top of the page for details.
See you next week.

I’m very sorry to hear about that. I hope the treatment goes well. My best wishes go to you and your loved one.
Today’s comic is beautiful, by the way. The placement of the “SOLD!” is a bit disconcerting given the subject of the text. Until I reached the final paragraph I was trying to figure out what “SOLD!” had to do with cancer.

A really beautiful peice of work, one of your best, appropriate to send this positive energy toward a good cause.

I am sorry to hear of your loved one’s diagnosis. How wonderful, though, that you can use your art to cope.
I just read through your archives (Box Brown of Bellen! linked to you today and said that he had done the same), and I love your work. It is intelligent, emotive, and pretty much fantastic. I’ll be sticking around for the next update

So very sad, I’m sorry.
But with technology today, things could go very well, I’ll have hope for you, and your friend. (:

[…] you may or may not know, I am going through a lot of personal issues with a loved one at the moment, so it has been a great comfort to take refuge in my watercolors. […]
