Stage Fright

A random comment was selected from a hat.  And the winner of the comment contest is…

Shameless Opportunist

Congratulations!  Check your email.  I have a couple of shipping questions for you.

Thanks to everyone who participated!  I plan on doing another one of these contests later in the year, so stay tuned.

Like most folks, I’ve always suffered from fear of public speaking.  It has subsided some over the years, but I don’t think I will ever be fearless.  My most terrifying fear is probably, fear of heights.  I start sweating just thinking about being on my two-storey roof.  Does anyone have any interesting phobias they’d like to share?

    Clowns. Dear god, clowns.

That, and insects being in my oreo cream.

  2. Luke Says:

Frogs and heights - not necessarily at the same time. I’m a ranida-acrophobe?

  3. Michael Says:

I was terrified of birds when I was a kid. I still get a little nervous around them.

  4. Bobsworth Says:

thankfully i’ve managed to get over my phobia of needles. mostly just from forcing myself to go through with it.

i still have a phobia of being late for important appointments? or is that a rational fear?

    Heights, definitely.
Re: speaking in public - I almost enjoy it, as long as I know my matter well. In fact, as long as there is reason to talk, I’d much rather talk to a thousand people than just one person.

    Since you’re ASKING…

Heights, needles, spiders, crowds (I really hate crowds, SO nervous around them), anime fans…
Mostly spiders and needles, but a heck of a lot more not listed. Almost the whole world.

How do I keep living? I am ever so brave.
